Quality Deployment at Sermatech International

At Sermatech International, the quality function is fully deployed as an integral part of our operations.
We:

  • Leverage the Voice of our Customers
  • Monitor and manage the quality process with a Balanced Scorecard
  • Provide a continuous improvement program linked to our business strategy
  • Use Six Sigma and other manufacturer tools

Continuous improvement is focused on the input received from customers and our business strategy. We integrate these requirements into our continuous improvement plan, execute to the plan and monitor our results with the Balanced Scorecard. We modify our plans or actions accordingly and report them with the applicable Balance Scorecard Counter Measures.

The tools available and used throughout the business include Six Sigma events, Value Stream Mapping and a complete set of lean manufacturing techniques: kaizen, set-up reduction, standard work, variance reduction and basic statistical process control.

Each facility holds a variety of third party and OEM customer certifications such as:

  • ISO 9001:2000

  • NADCAP
