Sermatech diffusion coatings can help protect your equipment against corrosion , erosion and oxidation in high temperature conditions from 600°F to 2100°F (316°C to 1093°C). The high temperature diffused coating systems we apply include the proprietary SermAlcote™ and SermaLoy™ J slurry aluminide coatings processes, as well as the following slurry-applied coatings:

Our SermAlcote slurry aluminizing coating process service offers an alternative to many industrial pack and vapor-phase aluminizing processes used for producing protective coatings on gas turbine hot section components.  SermAlcote-based processes have been developed to meet common commercial process specifications for aluminide coatings, platinum-modified aluminide coatings, and overaluminized MCrAlY.  These slurries produce extremely uniform diffused aluminide coatings and make possible a greater degree of uniformity and repeatability of coating structures.

The SermaLoy J aluminide diffusion coating process service is designed for protection of gas turbine hot section components and industrial components suffering from hot corrosion.  It is applied to the component surface, then diffused.  This results in a coating that adheres tightly to the part surface and is very resistant to both low and high temperature hot corrosion and oxidation.
