Fluoropolymer Coatings |

Sermatech's state-of-the-art fluoropolymer coatings can protect steel and other metal
substrates from severely corrosive chemicals in environments up to 450°F (232°C) or more, eliminating the need for exotic
construction materials and providing superior performance and longer equipment life. Advanced materials and application methods
allow the cost-effective, ambient-temperature coating of very large vessels (up to 30,000 gallons) and/or complex parts, without
concerns for access-related charges.

In addition, the universal
chemical inertness and high release properties of fluoropolymer coatings,
as well as their smooth, weld-free surfaces, make them ideal for high
purity applications. Many coatings are FDA approved, and their ease
of cleaning between batches minimizes downtime and provides higher
assurances of cross-batch purity.
Drawing upon our diverse
family of fluoropolymer technologies, including SermaShield PFA coating
system, Blue Armor®, and Halar® ECTFE coating systems, Sermatech
can provide a flouropolymer coating that meets the demands of the
specific application. For example, we can utilize hard coat technologies
to further bolster abrasion and wear resistance; embed absorbers to
act as permeation barriers for an added source of protection against
corrosion; strengthen the interface with mechanical bonding technologies;
and more.
