Many components are exposed to hostile environments such as: extremely high temperatures, Parts exposed to extremely high temperatures, acids, erosion, and wear.

Sermatech has the surface technology you need to manage these tough environments for instance:

Incinerators and biomass fueled heat and power generators create acidic gases during combustion.

These gases produce rapid wastage of steel heat transfer tube walls by reacting with the ferrous alloy creating non adherrent scale. The presence on low melting heavy metals salts further promotes corrosion.

The SermaX-T Process has been developed for use on steel boiler tubes and other heat transfer media exposed to corrosion, oxidation and erosion caused by exposure to corrosive gases at temperatures up to 900°C [1652°F]
